If you have ever dreamed of venturing inside an adult shop, or walked past and glanced in but not summoned the courage to actually cross the threshold, then perhaps online shopping is for you. From the privacy of your own computer, in your own home, you can now browse for adult sex toys, order whatever takes your fancy, and know that a discreet line on your credit card statement is the only clue to your secret fantasies. No longer are shoppers for adult toys restricted to the seedier areas of the city, or factory estates with circumspect rear entrances. And the mad dash to your car with your awkward parcel and red cheeks is a thing of the past.

When purchasing sex toys for woman, you have a huge selection at your fingertips – literally! Items from games and toys for hen’s nights, to heavy bondage and discipline gear – and everything in between – can be found online. Dildos, vibrators, anal beads, lingerie, strap-ons and butt plugs are a click away, and you can experiment with your partner without worrying about being seen leaving an adult store.

Sex toys for man are just as available – if you’re adventurous, many of the women’s sex toys can be used on their male partners (or used within a gay relationship). But there are toys for men exclusively – like cock rings and leads, and ball sacks, to dolls and simulated anuses and pussies.

Tips for Keeping Intimacy Alive

Making the talk show rounds this week is a couple, just an every day couple, who made a big commitment to each other. They made a pact to have sex every day for 101 days in a row.

Douglas and Annie Brown had been married for 11years and, well, things had gotten a bit stale. And infrequent. So they put aside the regular stressors that most couples claim leads to a lack of physical intimacy and they “just did it.”

For 101 days straight, no matter what else was going on, they followed through on their commitment to each other. Sometimes one or the other wasn’t totally feeling it, but they powered through, anyway.

Then they wrote a book about it. Called “Just Do It: How One Couple Turned Off the TV and Turned On Their Sex Lives for 101 Days (No Excuses!)”, the book is informative, entertaining, and sometimes kind of explicit.

The good news for the Browns, and maybe for you, is that it worked to bring the sexual spark back into their relationship. It could be a good idea to investigate, no matter if you’re married or not. Maybe you can even follow-up with your own book!

Proposal Tips

You’ve been dating for awhile (or not!). However long you’ve been together, something is telling you that your significant other is the one you want to stay with for the rest of your life. It’s time to propose.

Remember that when you are planning to propose to someone, the event is going to be remembered for the rest of both of your lives. It’s something that everyone in your circle of friends and family is going to ask about. Your kids and grandkids will ask, even some complete strangers will ask.

It’s just nice to have a good experience with the proposal for both of you to be able to tell. So here are some tips for proposing when the time is right.

Do keep the proposal a secret. Half the fun of a good proposal is taking someone off-guard. So if you need help planning the event, be careful who you share the details with! You don’t want someone spilling the beans before you!

Choose a location you want to remember. It would be great if you can incorporate a location that is a memory of one of your favorite dates with your significant other. Otherwise, beautiful scenery can create a lovely and memorable back drop. Just don’t propose with the ring on a bridge. Trust me, I know a guy who dropped a very expensive ring. Not a good memory.
